sushi alive

Went to a sushi restaurant last Friday called Sushi Alive on N. Dale Mabry in Tampa.

It was a really cute restaurant in a strip mall, got a table easy and the waitress was nice and prompt. The first thing I always order is some miso soup and maybe an appetizer which in this case was some edamame. I liked both, the edamame wasn’t the best but it was ok. I also got a water and some hot jasmine tea which was sooo delish!

I ordered two crunchy type rolls, with salmon in it. I sent both of them back because I didn’t realize the salmon would be cooked and the sauces on the rolls were not appealing to me so I got a japanese bagel roll and mexican roll instead. I was unhappy until I got my new rolls and then I was happy again. You can’t go wrong with those two.

All in all I would probably go here again, just look at the menu more carefully. :)

new blog

I love food, and I like to take pictures of my food. So I thought, why not blog about it? :D

This blog will just be pictures of food I love, reviews and maybe some recipes I like.

So enjoy!

This is a picture of home made filipino food. Some chicken and pork adobo and some pancit and jasmine rice. :) Can’t go wrong with home made and my older sister May is an excellent cook :D
